During the next couple of weeks, you will find various doors and walls at the Swedish Cancer Institute decorated in a beautiful red wrapping paper. This is a symbol of Swedish’ support for Gilda’s Club and their Red Door campaign.
The Red Door campaign was established to promote Gilda’s Club and the services the organization provides to the public as well as Gilda’s Club First Annual 5K Run/Walk on September 13th! Gilda’s Club offers a broad, community-based program of social, emotional, and educational support for cancer survivors, and their loved ones. Their Five Core Component program includes a variety of support services, educational opportunities, classes and workshops, social events, and resources. The organization offers open arms to anyone touched by cancer that needs support or services and walks through their “Red Doors”.
