Northwest Hope & Healing: Life in Color

June 7, 2021 Karyn Blasi Hellar, Executive Director, Northwest Hope & Healing

Northwest Hope and Healing is bringing back its signature fashion show fundraiser in 2021! Join us for Life in Color: Summer Brunch & Fashion Show, a vibrant celebration of the women and men that we have the privilege to support. In order to make this event accessible to all of our wonderful community members, we are hosting both an In-Person Brunch at the Seattle Yacht Club on August 15th at 11 AM and a Virtual Fashion Show, hosted by Michelle Millman of KIRO 7, on August 22nd at 11 AM.

The In-Person Brunch will take place on Sunday, August 15th on the lawn at the Seattle Yacht Club. Featuring summer fashion modeled by our incredible community of survivors and an exciting live auction, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for you and your guests to enjoy refreshing mimosas while taking in picturesque views of the club and Portage Bay!

The Virtual Fashion Show, hosted by Michelle Millman (KIRO 7), will be broadcast live on NWHH's auction website on Sunday, August 22nd. Tune in to hear stories of resilience and bravery from our survivor models, edited together with footage from the In-Person Brunch on the 15th. If you plan to join us at brunch, you might even see yourself in our virtual show!

We will be adhering to all WA state health and safety guidelines for COVID-19 to ensure all our wonderful supporters can safely participate in our Life in Color event. Our virtual fashion show on August 22nd will be available to everyone free of charge, and in an extra special effort to ensure the health and safety of our immunocompromised models, we are asking guests who attend the in-person brunch on August 15th to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Tickets for both the In-Person Brunch and the Virtual Fashion Show are available now at the following link: Corporate sponsorships are available. Thank you to Swedish Cancer Institute for joining us as our presenting sponsor. Register to participate today!
