All event proceeds support the Sounders' RAVE Foundation, the club's official chartable arm, which promotes soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities.
Registration is now open for Seattle Sounders FC Rave Green Run presented by Providence Swedish. The 5k (3.1 mile) race/fun run and Sammy’s One Mile Kids Dash will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. This is the first year that Providence Swedish is the presenting sponsor for the event.
The course will lead participants throughout the newly built Providence Swedish Performance Center & Clubhouse (the Seattle Sounders headquarters and training facility in Renton).
After the race, runners and cheerers are invited to enjoy the Finish Live Festival for post-race wellness activities, courtesy of Providence Swedish. Refreshments, vendor booths, music and fun race awards.
All proceeds from the Rave Green Run support the RAVE Foundation, the official chartable arm of Seattle Sounders FC. RAVE Foundation builds small fields for free play and uses soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities.
Providence Swedish supports the mission of RAVE Foundation and its emphasis on the connection between physical activity and mental health. Providing spaces throughout our community for children of all ages to play increases the physical and mental health of our community, as well as building stronger bonds between community members.
