For the third consecutive year, Swedish hospitals were once again recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) for high achievement in stroke and diabetes care in the AHA's Get With The Guidelines program.
Get With The Guidelines is an in-hospital program established by the AHA for improving stroke care by promoting consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. The program's success is backed by data and published studies measuring patient outcome improvements.
2025 Get With The Guidelines awards include:
- Swedish First Hill earned Stroke Gold Plus with Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
- Swedish Issaquah earned Stroke Gold Plus, along with Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
- Swedish Edmonds earned Stroke Gold Plus with Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
- Swedish Cherry Hill earned Stroke Gold Plus with Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus, Advanced Therapy, and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
- Swedish Ballard earned Stroke Silver.
