Memory concerns are not uncommon as you age. You forget where you left your keys or the name of someone you met recently. Maybe you can’t always remember what it is you’re looking for if too much time passes before it’s found. It’s all just a part of growing older, right?

Maybe not. It could be your medication.

Managing your medications is one of the top three ways you can protect your brain health as you age, according to a report from the National Academy of Medicine.

If you take any of the following mediations regularly, talk to your doctor about whether they could have an impact on your memory, and, if so, what actions you can take in response.
