January 13, 2016 Jolyn Hull

How do you cope with a cancer diagnosis? What can you do to lower your risk of getting cancer? When it comes to cancer, there is a lot to learn.

The Education Department at the Swedish Cancer Institute offers regular cancer education classes. They vary from creative expression to cancer prevention.

Our classes are available for:

  • newly diagnosed patients
  • patients in treatment
  • caregivers
  • family members
  • members of the community

Classes are offered across the areas we serve: Ballard, Edmonds, Issaquah and First Hill. To learn more about what classes will be offered in Winter 2016, please visit our class page.

If you see something you’d like to see more of, or don’t see something that you’d like to see offered, please take our brief survey: http://svy.mk/1PvGoia

Registration is required for classes. You can register by calling 1-800-SWEDISH, or by visiting www.swedish.org/classes
