Beware of amber teething necklaces, doctor says

Frazzled parents with cranky teething babies may be tempted to try anything to ease their child’s pain. But Elizabeth Meade, M.D., a Swedish pediatrician, says not everything on the market is safe. She’s warning against amber teething necklaces. Providers are seeing more and more children with these necklaces, but Dr. Meade says they don’t work – and they are dangerous. She explains why in this video and offers effective alternatives to comfort your teething baby.
