We hope you’ll find all the helpful information you need about the future Swedish/Issaquah campus right here on our new blog. For those of you who aren’t too familiar with the Issaquah project, here are the details.
In August, Swedish broke ground on its new medical center in Issaquah. The campus will be located off of Interstate 90 at Exit No. 18 in the Issaquah Highlands. It will be along N.E. Blakely Drive.
Construction phases
The new campus will be developed in two phases. The first phase is the opening of a medical-office building and outpatient center in 2011. And, the hospital — phase two — will open in early 2012 with 80 beds.
Health-care close to home
Swedish/Issaquah will provide a broad range of inpatient and outpatient medical services including oncology, cardiac care, obstetrics, pediatrics, primary care, emergency services, intensive care and a host of other medical and surgical services and specialists.
Building a new medical campus is very exciting — and we’re anxious to start construction. We look forward to bringing vital medical services to the greater Eastside.
Although we have many months before the facility takes shape, we are dedicated to keeping you informed with the latest information about the campus. So, please check back for regular updates and interesting tidbits about the project.
