In Washington, only six inpatient rehabilitation programs were recognized. This recognition places our unit among an elite group of rehabilitation programs across the state.

We’re proud to share that the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Swedish Cherry Hill Campus has been named one of Washington’s top inpatient physical rehabilitation centers in Newsweek’s America’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2025 rankings, earning the #4 spot statewide.

This recognition places our unit among an elite group of rehabilitation programs across the state and reflects the exceptional care, compassion, and expertise our team brings to patients every day.

What this recognition means

The Newsweek rankings, developed in partnership with Statista, evaluated 320 inpatient rehabilitation facilities nationwide using a rigorous, multi‑factor methodology. Facilities were assessed based on quality metrics published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, expert recommendations from rehabilitation professionals, accreditation data, and patient experience indicators such as Google reviews.

In Washington, only six inpatient rehabilitation programs were recognized — and Swedish Cherry Hill’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit was ranked among the very best.

A testament to our team

This recognition is a powerful affirmation of the work our interdisciplinary team does every day to support patients recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgery. Inpatient rehabilitation requires intensive, highly coordinated care, and the ranking highlights the effectiveness of this approach in improving outcomes and supporting long‑term recovery.

Congratulations to the entire Acute Rehabilitation Unit team on this well‑deserved recognition.
