"She has shown unconditional love and taught me to open my heart and give people a chance to be my friend."
Advice for first time pet owners?
"Adopt a rescue animal and an older animal. We took Kelly Bear at 14 months and it was a perfect age. We adopted her shortly after I was diagnosed with CIS and RRMS. (Looking to adopt? Check out our local Humane Society.)"
