Free Pilates Class at the Multiple Sclerosis Center begins Nov. 14

Pilates is a system of gentle exercises that stretch, tone, and lengthen the muscles. This class is designed to improve posture, flexibility, balance, and core strength.
 

This class, beginning Friday November 14, 2014, is appropriate for all mobility levels and those new to Pilates. Wheelchairs are welcome. Family members, caregivers, and friends are welcome to attend as well.

 

When:                 Fridays, 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Anna Leslie
With a science and medical background, Anna is passionate about health and fitness. As a certified Pilates instructor and participant in Mariska Breland’s Pilates for MS advanced training, Anna strives to help clients fine-tune their body awareness, heal and strengthen, and ultimately enhance the quality of their lives. Anna also holds an advanced education certificate of Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies.
 
Nicole Pieratt
After surviving breast cancer, Nicole shifted her exercise focus from working her body hard to working her body well. Pilates assisted with this transition and Nicole values the opportunity to help students develop a connection between their body and mind. She aims to keep one’s body healthy and efficient. Nicole is a certified Pilates instructor and has completed Mariska Breland’s Pilates for MS advanced training course.
