Museum of Museums now open to the public

April 1, 2021 Swedish Communications

The Museum of Museums, located on the Swedish First Hill campus at 909 Boylston Ave., celebrated its official opening March 11.

Swedish is proud to be one of several sponsors of the MoM, which is described as a contemporary art center with a mission to increase the artist population of Seattle and inspire the local arts ecosystem.

The MoM has nearly every inch of property (3 floors) art-activated, according to its website. There are a variety of installations, from a video by Hunter Irving titled “Your Sanctuary,” to the already selfie-popular “Flower Cave” by Elisa Maelen.

General admission is $10, with no charge for children 10 and under. Admission for art classes and workshops in the kitchen will vary. You can buy tickets/make advanced reservations online.

Museum hours:

  • Thursdays and Fridays: 5-10 p.m.
  • Saturdays: noon-10 p.m.
  • Sundays: noon-6 p.m.
