Lead Patient Financial Services Counselor Cantrell Jones received this year's Nils Johanson Award for Integrity. Congratulations Cantrell, from the Providence Swedish community.

Every year, Providence Swedish recognizes the invaluable work of our caregivers with the Nils Johanson Inspirational Awards. The awards are named for Swedish's founder, Nils Johanson, and are given to caregivers who exemplify our core values of integrity, dignity, excellence, justice, compassion and safety. Caregivers are nominated by their peers and supervisors.

We'd like to introduce you to this year's winner of the Integrity award, Lead Patient Financial Counselor Cantrell Jones. Jones, who comes from a family of nine children, says that the community of a large family inspires him in his work each day.

"I love the work I do. I enjoy working with people and helping people," he says. "That community of togetherness [with my family] is what drives me each day."

Watch the video below to learn more about Cantrell and why he is an inspiration to our entire Providence Swedish community.
