We’re grateful to the Seattle Storm for their continued partnership and to Doppler for bringing a little extra light to our patients, families and caregivers at Swedish First Hill.
Patients, families and caregivers on the pediatric unit and in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Swedish First Hill enjoyed a special visitor recently: Doppler, the beloved mascot of the Seattle Storm.
Doppler spent the morning meeting babies and families in the NICU and brightening the day of kids on the pediatric unit with high-fives and photo ops. For families navigating hospital stays, the visit offered a moment of fun, comfort and distraction.
Caregivers also got in on the joy, taking a few moments to meet Doppler and share smiles with one another and their patients.
