Meet Ramona Jull, a senior medical assistant at Swedish Plastis and Aesthetics. Ramona is the recipient if ths year's Nils Johanson Award for Dignity. From the entire Providence Swedish commuity, congratulations Ramona.

Every year, Providence Swedish recognizes the invaluable work of our caregivers with the Nils Johanson Inspirational Awards. The awards are named for Swedish's founder, Nils Johanson, and are given to caregivers who exemplify our core values of integrity, dignity, excellence, justice, compassion and safety. Caregivers are nominated by their peers and supervisors.

We're proud to introduce you to Ramona Jull, a health unit coordinator on the postpartum unit of our First Hill campus. Ramona has been a Swedish caregiver for 25 years and is widely admired for her genuine warmth and care for others. Ramona is also known for her uncanny problem-solving "sixth sense" and her fashion sense as the unit's resident fashionista.

"[Ramona] consistently demonstrates kindness and understanding," says Postpartum Unit Manger Johanna Estes. "She particularly shines with new staff and nursing students, offering guidance during their first tentative days."

“I love my job, and I look out for everybody, just caring for them and making sure everybody feels welcome here,” says Ramona. “That’s what dignity means to me: just looking out for everybody.”

Watch the video to learn more about Ramona and why she is such an important part of the postpartum team and the Providence Swedish family.
